River City Rally Launches New Website

Welcome to the official website of River City Rally! You can find us throughout the 2019 American Rally Association season at www.rivercityrally.com.

River City Rally is a privateer rally team based in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Formed by a group of friends in 2015, RCR is on a mission to spread their love and enjoyment of the sport while pushing the limits of what a smaller team can accomplish.

RCR posted its best season to date in 2018, as Michael Hooper won the Rally America National Championship for drivers in the 2-Wheel Drive class. In 2019, RCR will compete in selected American Rally Association events.

The team made its season debut at the Missouri Ozark Rally on February 2 as part of a charitable initiative to benefit the Fanconi Anemia Research Fund. The team raised more than $2,000 with a pair of raffles, including the co-driver's seat for the event. The winner donated the prize to Joe Vitrano, whose son Carson's courageous fight against Fanconi anemia was the inspiration for the initiative. In addition, RCR ran a second entry for the first time for Brian Katz and Matt Vaught, who finished first in the Limited 2WD class.

The next event for River City Rally will be March 15-16's 100 Acre Wood Rally, where Hooper and Claudia Barbera-Pullen will reunite for the first time in 2019. Last year, they finished second in the 2-Wheel Drive class and sixth overall in the event.
